Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), also known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), is a complex, long-term illness characterized by profound fatigue that doesn't improve with rest and may worsen with physical or mental activity. It can also involve a range of other symptoms, including sleep disturbances, cognitive impairments, and muscle and joint pain.

Massachusetts ME/CFS & FM Association - Founded in 1985, this organization provides education, support, and advocacy for patients with ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia. They offer resources for patients and families and work to educate healthcare providers and the public about these conditions.
MEAction Network – New Hampshire Chapter - This chapter welcomes individuals with ME, Long COVID, and associated illnesses, as well as family members, caregivers, and allies, to join in advocacy and support efforts. These organizations offer a range of services, including support groups, educational materials, and medical care, to assist individuals and families affected by CFS in the New England region.
