Creating and Sustaining Vibrant Local Economies in Maine

Do you think a strong locally-based sector is crucial to a more vibrant, thriving economy for Maine? Are you a supporter of the local economies movement and willing to actively promote it? If so, we hope you will come to and register (via for this day-long gathering and encourage others to do so as well:

"Creating and Sustaining Vibrant Local Economies in Maine"
on March 22,  9 AM-4 PM, Randall Student Center, Augusta.

Attached is a two-sided brochure to distribute (print off and give out and/or email to others) in your group or community and a flyer to post. The brochure describes why this gathering is important, what we hope to accomplish, who else may be there, some of the reasons why local economies are so necessary, and a tentative schedule for the day.
